Over the past 40 days away from distractions like twitter and Instagram, life pretty much felt like back in primary school, when things like smartphones and social networking sites didn't exist.

It was pretty funny at times when I'll be in the train observing the people around me and every single one of them will be looking down, staring at their smartphones.

After the CC4 Confirmation Retreat and 24 hour fast event i think i finally know what I want to do in life. People in Singapore are so blessed sometimes that we tend to forget those who live in really bad conditions and starve every single day. The 24 hour fast event made me realise that.

"What do you want to be remembered for in life?" Rather than being something superficial like "the smartest guy in class","the richest dude in the world","the most popular", i really hope that someday i'll be remembered as "the person who made a difference in my life."

Although it's just a dream, i seriously hope that one day I'll be able to start a worthy cause/business that is able to sustain itself while being able to help and give back to those in need. That would surely make my life so much more meaningful as compared to some 9-5 office job. And hey, who knows? Maybe someday this crazy dream of mine will come true and I'll be out there helping people and making a difference in their lives.

to an amazing life

haha geez i should really get myself to blog more often, it's probably been about half a year since my last post. anyway, so it's 2013, o'level year haha. though the main focus of the year should be studying for my o's, i think i really should spend this last year in secondary school appreciating all the amazing people i've met in these past years.

4 years ago when i first set foot into st gabs, i remember so clearly telling myself "wow, i'm going to spend 4 long years of my life here." and just like that, in the blink of an eye, 4 years flew by. 4 years ago, i wouldn't have expected that those strangers sitting around me, would end up being the very bros whom i'll be so thankful for.

i swear there are so many other amazing people i've met throughout my 4 years in st gab's , in church, in raymond's in obs etc. etc. but darn there's just way too many photos to post hahaha.

in just a period of 4 years, i've achieved so many things i'd personally think was impossible, i've overcame so many challenges in my life and i've met so many wonderful people who've changed me in every way possible.

and i think that's the beauty of life, you will never really know what's going to happen next. as you journey along the stages of your life, you will meet so many incredible people,you will experience so many wonderful things. if in just 4 years, so much has happened,  it just makes me feel so optimistic of what life has in stored for me next.

anyway cause i'm such a lazy ass, i'll just post photos of what i've been up to these last few months 

2 more days to Easter whoop! Finally after 40 days I'll finally be able to use twitter, instagram etc. once again. (Decided to give up social networking websites for lent haha) 

2013 has been pretty darn good so far, excited for what's in stored, hopefully this is gonna be another great year :)
